For fans of the Slant Cab style and tone, but for your current gigs a 4x12 is just too much, the Mesa Rectifier® 2x12 Vertical Slant cabinet is for you.

With roughly the same interior area as the Horizontal Rectifier 2x12 Cabinet, the overall tone, punch and detail of the Vertical Rectifier 2x12 is similar, but some players prefer a Slant-style cabinet for the ‘monitor’ effect from the top speaker sloping upwards. When you can’t bring a 4x12 to the gig or session, the 2x12 Recto Vertical Slant Cab easily provides a similar sonic footprint, without the size & weight… and it’s styling and huge tone will probably fool most folks into thinking it IS a 4x12.

Cabinetry plays a major role in achieving the sound you are searching for. That’s why it’s so important to choose a cabinet that will not only suit your playing style, but actually enhance it. ALL MESA® ENCLOSURES are made using the finest Void-free, Marine Grade Baltic Birch in varying thicknesses of no less than 9 ply and as many as 14 ply. Super strong rabbet corners are glued and nailed and all backs are gasket sealed to ensure an air-tight seal. Baffles are fitted with superior dado joint construction and braced. Grilles are wrapped around a separate grilleboard, not the baffle board. Grille material is made of strong twisted jute dipped in a special coating that filters top end for a sweeter response. You simply won't find a better cabinet.
