While it shares an obvious lineage to some of the most classic bass lineage, the JXB features some innovative new features while retaining a classic voice.
Brubaker's bolt-thru neck joint is a mix of a bolt-on and neck-thru technology, and has been a Brubaker staple for over 20 years. It is very labor intensive to make but is well worth the extra effort, as you combine the attack and clarity of a bolt-on neck design with the increased sustain and fundamentals of a neck-thru design.
All JXB basses come standard with The Original BOB Swappable preamp system, which allows you to quick-swap the preamp on the fly without the need for soldering, wiring knowledge, etc. Simply remove the 3 screws that hold the preamp down, lift it out, pop in a different preamp, put the screws back in, and you're up and playing with new voices. A passive preamp is included with each bass, and you have your choice of active preamp modules from Aguilar, Darkglass, and Bartolini, with new preamp options being added all the time.

For Free Shipping items, Effects pedals and small goods items are generally shipped via USPS Priority Mail, and Guitars and Amplifiers are generally shipped via UPS Ground.
Due to our central location in the middle of the US, most orders will be delivered within 1-3 days delivery time.
