Kris Hu
In the Summer of 2023, we wanted to expand our theatrical vocal offering. Julia Hu, one of our tenured instructors, recommended we reach out to her sister Kris. Her theatre experience and the ability to teach multiple instruments made it easy for us to offer Kris a position on our staff.
Kris continues to embrace music and theatre performances while she studies Business Administration at Texas Woman’s University. Her musical theatre experience ranges from Shrek the Musical all the way to Footloose.
Kris has a patient and enthusiastic teaching style that encourages students ages 7 to 16. She offers beginner ukulele lessons, beginner piano lessons, and beginner vocal lessons that specialize in pop and musical theatre.
Kris is a seasoned performer with nearly 10 years of experience in a variety of artistic disciplines, including acting and musical theatre, singing, and lion dancing. Kristina’s comfort and confidence with performing is rivaled by her joy and passion for sharing and teaching music!
Kris is available for lessons on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
