Preowned Lowden F-50C Winter Series Limited in Sinker Rosewood and Alpine Spruce

This stunning custom Lowden F-50C is part of their 2021 Winter Series Limited Edition, It is #22 of 25.  It is in mint condition, with the original case and all paperwork, it was sold by us originally.

The Lowden Winter Limited Edition models feature Sinker Rosewood back and sides paired with an Alpine Spruce top.

What makes Sinker Rosewood so special? The clue is in the name. Many years ago – and well before large trucks became an option for transportation – felled logs were often floated down rivers to saw mills. Occasionally, a log would sink and remain at the bottom of the river bed for decades. In recent years, these logs are being located, recovered, and used in guitar-making. Having been deprived of oxygen underwater, these ‘Sinker’ tonewoods have not decayed and, once dried and cut, offer highly prized, resonant-rich alternatives to traditional tonewoods – perfect for a limited edition Lowden.

This one also features the optional LR Baggs Anthem Electronics, so it sounds as good plugged in as it does unplugged, as well as a cutaway for easy access to the upper registers.

The "F" is Lowden's "Medium" body size, smaller than the larger "O", larger than the concert sized "S", offering a great mix for the player who wants to both fingerpick and flatpick on the same instrument.
