Presenting the Taylor Builder's Edition K24ce all Koa Grand Auditorium.
Crafted to deliver the ultimate playing experience, Taylor's Builder's Edition K24ce blends a refined, ergonomic playing experience with premium tonewoods and a textured, vibrant acoustic sound.
Solid Hawaiian Koa forms the back, sides and top of this Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric, generating a bold, articulate midrange with splashy refined trebles and warmth in the low end. Koa is also famous for its aging properties, and will open up over time and play with greater depth and sweetness.
The V-Class bracing enhances the response with greater volume and longer sustain. A bevy of comfort features includes an armrest, beveled cutaway, and chamfered body and fretboard edges, and the Silent Satin finish helps reduce incidental noise for recording situations.
Key Features of the Builder's Edition K24CE at a glance:
Grand Auditorium Body Size: Taylor’s signature shape embodies the ultimate all-purpose acoustic. Maintaining more of the body depth of a traditional Dreadnought, but with the tighter waist and shoulders of a small body guitar, the Grand Auditorium for the player who splits their time between flatpicking AND fingerpicking, and is looking for one guitar to do do both.
Hawaiian Koa: Few woods carry the allure of Hawaiian koa, with its gorgeous figure and sweet, complex tone. A koa top's visual beauty is instantly inspiring, while its sonic rewards unfold over time, as warm, sweet overtones gradually emerge. Perfect for the player looking for more intimate voices, where the "bloom" of the note is more crucial than the attack.
ES2 Electronics: The Expression System® 2 captures more of a guitar’s dynamic properties using a breakthrough behind-the-saddle design.
Beveled Cutaway: Taylor's newly designed beveled cutaway on the Builder's Edition models provides a more player-friendly feel for guitarists who utilize every inch of the fretboard. It features a compound design with a smoothened edge along the corner of the body between the end of the cutaway and the neck heel, providing a more comfortable feel for the fretting hand.
V-Class Bracing: Taylor's patented V-Class bracing is a revolutionary new pattern — a new sonic engine — that marks a major shift away from traditional steel-string bracing patterns.
