Well not anymore, The new Suhr Shiba Drive Re|Loaded MINI has inherited all of the DNA of it’s larger sibling, only now it’s harnessed in a smaller more compact pedal board friendly design.

Small but mighty and heavily equipped with Drive, Tone and Level Controls, a 2-Position Smooth (Hi-Cut) switch, True Bypass, an On/Off Effect Status Indicator, the Shiba Drive Reloaded Mini can be powered via any 9Vdc center negative power supply and is housed in a road-worthy powder coated die-cast enclosure for years of reliable performance.

In July of 2009, Suhr shipped their very first Shiba Drive pedal. The Shiba was designed to provide players with a variety of fat rhythm and warm singing lead tones. The Shiba Drive gained great popularity among players seeking an overdrive pedal that could be used in conjunction with their amplifier’s clean or overdrive channels for added flexibility.

The new Suhr Shiba Drive Reloaded is the result of countless hours of listening, testing, and tweaking of their original overdrive circuit to create a pedal that is more amp-like, has a tighter low-end, focused mids, and features more gain (50% more than our original Shiba).
