The new Fusion NX takes the original Boden concept to a slightly different direction with the fusion and shred players in mind who seek a warmer and fatter tone. Very light in weight and engineered for comfort like all Boden models, the Fusion features a chambered Alder body with a solid Maple top and premium grade Flame or Quilt Maple veneer and a Maple neck with Rosewood fretboard for the famous .strandberg* acoustic resonance but with more warmth and tonal evenness.
The EGS Pro Rev7 tremolo system machined out of aircraft grade aluminum plays a major part in the Boden’s unique acoustic character as well as providing an extremely smooth tremolo response and superb tuning stability. The new Rev7 hardware bridge pieces feature a self-locking mechanism for the saddles for improved robustness and tone transfer as well as quick and easy string action adjustments. Implementing a traditional fulcrum tremolo design with the rout for the tremolo springs, the Fusion models exhibit a more “open” sonic character than the fixed bridge Original.
Electronics-wise, the Fusion model is equipped with the Suhr passive pickups (SSV+ in the bridge, SSV in the neck and V60LP single-coil in the middle) with a very versatile HSH wiring to deliver the natural acoustic characteristics of the guitar faithfully and powerfully to your favorite amplification systems while offering the sonic flexibility to suit virtually all musical genres and playing styles.

- By utilizing flat surfaces rather than a round profile, it provides a more restful grip for the thumb
- Your hand is much stronger when gripping something thick than when gripping something thin, and the EndurNeck™ uses this fact in its design.
- Due to the way that it is designed, it is experienced as comfortable whether you are used to a thick or thin neck
- Chord playing at the far end of the neck is made easier
- Soloing and fret access in general at the near end of the neck is made easier
- The curved rear section and the angles of the surfaces interact to
- encourage a more correct playing position and a straighter wrist
