After years of development, testing, and meticulous sound design — our friends at Strymon are thrilled to introduce the world to BigSky MX. They've taken everything the original BigSky was renowned for — stunning reverb algorithms, unparalleled flexibility, stage-ready functionality — and brought it to the next level.
It can be daunting to dramatically improve a product like the original BigSky, as it’s been a staple on pro pedalboards for a long time for a host of very good reasons, but Strymon has spent the last four years making sure that we achieved that goal. It sounds bigger, wider and more expressive than anything else on the planet, with a host of new features and capabilities that make it the new Greatest Of All Time reverb.

The new BigSky MX is a world-class reverberator that packs a host of powerful features into a single enclosure: it uses a tri-core 800 MHz ARM processor to achieve two reverb machines at once, with Series, Parallel or Split audio routing and new panning controls. Of the 12 reverb machines, seven are brand new and the remaining classic machines all get powerful sonic and feature upgrades. The new convolution engine is capable of playing ten-second stereo impulse responses, along with the ability to fully edit the IRs. 22 impulses come preloaded, including a large number of custom long captures of classic analog studio gear. Stereo I/O, DIN and TRS MIDI I/O and USB-C round out the connections, and a new OLED screen, dedicated Inifinite/Freeze footswitch and multiple footswitch modes make it easier to control than ever.

Stereo inputs and outputs allow for a variety of routing options, while our discrete Class A JFET input preamps deliver unmatched feel and responsiveness.

A dedicated Infinite/Freeze footswitch intuitively enables you to create lush pads to play over.

Full MIDI implementation via DIN, TRS, or USB-C lets you make the most of BigSky MX’s vast range of controls and 300 preset locations. All this in a robust, easy-to-use and elegant pedal.

Any order placed before 3pm CDT Tuesday through Saturday is processed for shipment the same day. Orders placed Sunday-Monday will be processed for shipment the following Tuesday.

For Free Shipping items, Effects pedals and small goods items are generally shipped via USPS Priority Mail, and Guitars and Amplifiers are generally shipped via UPS Ground.

Due to our central location in the middle of the US, most orders will be delivered within 1-3 days delivery time.

Other shipping methods are available (at an additional cost), including next day air.

    Strymon BigSky mx has come a long way. I have a few of their pedals but waited a long time before making a purchase for this flagship reverb. Glad I did. Dual Reverb is wonderful. Overall extremely impressed with this pedal. Simple to use. As always Guitar Sanctuary service is best in class. Fast shipping.
